What: Step into a prehistoric adventure and encounter a range of dinosaurs hiding out across the park, ready to be tracked down. Hunt for ancient fossils, follow the dinosaur egg trail, and get hands-on in a build-a-dinosaur workshop, where little explorers can create their very own prehistoric creature to take home. If that’s not enough, ride the world’s only people-powered rollercoaster, or make a splash on Solar Splash, the UK’s first solar-powered water ride.

What: A long list of Corrie legends from Dame Maureen Lipman to Andy Whyment have graced the set’s Star Tours in the past so who could you meet this February? Coronation Street’s iconic cobbles are open for guided tours of the nation’s favourite street meaning fans can pay a visit to locations including the Rovers Return and Roy’s Rolls, or upgrade to meet a cast member. The Coronation Street Exhibition is also open every day to take a trip down memory lane.

Hear the stories of the infamous plague doctor, uncover the dangerous work of the ‘foul clengers’, and learn about the shocking medical practices once believed to be cures.

What: Immerse yourself in the history of chocolate at the heart of the UK’s chocolate city before getting hands-on to create your very own mini easter egg truffles. The experience starts by journeying to the Aztec rainforests of Central America before meeting the York pioneers who created some of the treats we still enjoy today. Your visit culminates with crafting four ganache-filled truffles using the finest Belgian couverture chocolate before decorating and sealing them to take home.

What: Step into the heart of Emmerdale, where some of TV’s most dramatic moments have unfolded. Walk in the footsteps of the Dingles, Sugdens and Tates around the external Emmerdale Village Tour set, located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. Pose outside iconic landmarks like The Woolpack and David’s Shop, and learn about the secrets behind the idyllic filming location before mingling with a surprise cast member and grabbing that all-important selfie.

What: Take home your very own dragon direct from the heart of medieval Oxford. Decorate your own dragon egg and nest to care for the newest member of the family, which comes with their own certificate of adoption and fact sheet to fill in. But don’t worry, each dragon is already house trained and guaranteed not to get any bigger or eat the family pet. Perfect for children aged three to seven. While you’re visiting, why not explore the castle’s ancient crypt or climb the iconic St George’s Tower (not suitable for children under five).
