Working under a management contract with Maidstone Borough Council, Continuum Attractions were asked to re-focus, provide much-needed investment and operate this rural Kent attraction, which was on the brink of closure in 2008.
During our first year, we transformed the offering and brand of the ‘Museum of Kent Life’, investing in experiences for the core family audience. Visitor numbers doubled, the collection was put on wider display and the cultural and built assets were secured. We ensured the project became commercially viable and site was protected for future generations to enjoy.
